Retail Price for Squeezers Went Up

In 2008, the Russian squeezer market reached its ceiling volume, i.e. 1.4 million units. In 2006, the dramatic sales drop was registered, the sales volume of squeezers went down by 41.5 %. In 2006-2010, the consumer share increased from 17.7% to 18.5 % of the total number of households in Russia.

According to BusinesStat estimates, in 2006-2010 the average retail price for squeezers went up by 36.8%. Almost all the squeezers sold in Russia are being imported. The main Russian manufacturer of squeezers is Orbita, JSC.
