The Sales Volume of Sulphuric Acid is Growing.

Sulphuric acid is one of the most important chemical agents in the chemical and metallurgical industry. It is used in the production of mineral fertilizers, in the process of ore degradation for metal fabrication. It is also used to clean petrochemicals from sulphides and unsaturated organic compounds.

In recent years the Russian market of sulphuric acid has been highly unstable. The global financial crisis affected the sulphuric acid market extremely negatively. From 2008 to 2009 the sales volume of sulphuric acid decreased by 11.5% and equaled 8.5 million tons.  In 2010, the situation in the market was rapidly improving, and by the end of the year the sales volume had gone up to 9.3 million tons.

According to the BusinesStat estimates, the sales growth of sulphuric acid will continue in the foreseeable future.
