During the period from 2007 to 2011, actual volume of sales of pencils in wooden casing increased by 24%: from 730 to 902 million units in Russia. During the crisis of 2009 in Russia, sales of wooden pencils decreased by 2% in comparison with the previous year and amounted to 746 million units. It took place primary because of demand decrease in stationary and drop in corporate sales of office supplies.
Average Price for Policy Will be Increasing Annually

According to BusinesStat estimates, in 2011, value of the volume of the voluntary health insurance market in Moscow amounted to 54.6 billion rubles, increased by 14% in comparison with the previous year, whereas number of visits on voluntary health insurance increased only by 5.4%. Voluntary health insurance net grows at priority rates against number of visits. Increase in prices of medical services in whole and voluntary health insurance policies in particular is the main factor of the net growth. In 2011, the average prices for visits on voluntary health insurance went up by 8.4% and amounted to 2,232.9 rubles per visit. Price growth for medical attendances, in its turn, is connected with the increase in personnel salaries, rental rate of placements and prices for foreign equipment and medicines.

In the coming years, the average price for service according to voluntary health insurance programme will be increasing slower than for single services of commercial clinics. By 2016, the average price for medical attendance on voluntary health insurance will have amounted to 3,111.5 rubles per visit. Slow price growth is connected with the profit of insurers, composed by the variance of insurance premiums and payouts. This profit lets companies undertake part of expenditures appearing after the price growth of clinics.

From 2007 to 2011, the average price for voluntary health insurance policy went up by 57% and reached 18.7 thousand rubles per annual policy. As far as 85% of the voluntary health insurance volume sector is occupied by the corporate insurance, the average price for policy will be advanced to the wholesale price for big organizations, in other words to minimum possible price. Insurers are forced to work closer with the physical persons and small business because of the segment depletion of big clients. That is why the average price for policy will be increasing annually and will have amounted to 27.4 thousand rubles per policy by 2016.

Between 2007and 2011, demand for fibreboard increased by 4.7%: from 451.1 million cubic metres to 472.2 million cubic metres in Russia. The sharpest drop of demand by 26 % was recorded in 2009 compared to the previous years. The highest growth amounted to 15.4% in 2011. Sharp decrease of actual sales was the reason of reduction in 2009. Thus, the volume of fibreboard sales decreased by 32.6%: from 436.2 million cubic metres to 294.1 million cubic metres in 2008. In 2011, demand for fibreboard went up by 25.4% in comparison with 2009. Dynamic development of construction and growth of furniture production contributed to the demand growth.

Export of fiberboard of wet production forms the basis of Russian export. In 2011, share of fibreboard of wet production reached 51.4%. In 2011, share of fiberboard with treated surface did not exceed 28.3%; share of dry production fibreboard was 20.3%. Thus, share of fibreboard with special features amounted to not more than 0.1%. Uzbekistan was the main customer of Russian fibreboard in 2007-2011. The export share of Russian products into Uzbekistan went up from 29.8% in 2007 to 41.5% in 2011.
Croppage of Sugar Beet Increased

From 2007 to 2011, croppage of sugar beet increased by 61%: from 29 to 46 million tons in Russia. In 2009-2010, its croppage decreased by 14% and 11% relatively in comparison with the previous years. Unfavourable weather conditions in the regions of cultivation, which influenced yield of sugar beet, were the main reasons of croppage reduction. In 2008, despite the downsizing of crop acreage compared to 2007, the croppage of sugar beet went up by 1% for account of yield increase by 30%. In 2011, the highest level of sugar beet yield was recorded in Russia; it amounted to 46 million tons.

According to BusinesStat estimates, during the period from 2007 to 2011, demand for sugar beet went up almost by 52%: from 29 to 44 million tons. In 2009-2010, reduction of demand by 13% and 11% relatively was recorded. The main reasons of demand reduction were decrease in sugar consumption by industries and flexible quotas on import of raw sugar.

In Russia, sugar beet is being sold out in the domestic market almost totally. Export of sugar beet consists of single transactions and its share in demand structure is insignificant. Russian beet-root material is more expensive than imported cane sugar. That is why its export is not profitable.
